Ah ha, here it is then: an article explaining how creative companies have used their human resource function to get the right people on board. None of that hog wash that gets trotted out by 'bottom-line' focused organisations. And, just for good measure, here's a book by John Kay who has studied how exclusively pursuing the bottom line causes most big firms to undermine themselves.
